Your First Visit

What will my first appointment consist of?

• Medical history
Your medical history and certain medications may affect the health and apperance of your teeth and gums.

• Periodontal (gum health) check
This involves checking the gums and supporting structures for signs of redness or puffiness.

• Occlusion
Your bite will be examined to see how your teeth fit together.

• Radiographs
X-rays are taken to check for decay and other dental issues that cannot be seen such as root canal or bone loss which may indicate advanced gum disease.

• Discussion of dental concerns
We are happy to listen to any of your dental concerns or answer questions you may have to provide the best dental plan for you. We are happy to also demonstrate the effective way to brush your teeth and floss to prevent any gum disease.
