Churchill Dental entered into the precedent productions small business champions’ award this year and we are very proud to be named a state finalist under the “professional services” category at the 2009 NSW/ACT Small Business Champion Awards held at The Westin Sydney on Saturday 17th October, 2009.

Only recently has Australian Small Businesses been given the opportunity to be recognised for achievements and encouraged for excellence. “The Small Business Champion Awards is a celebration of small business and its contribution to the Australian way of life”, said Steve Loe, Managing Director of Precedent Productions who created and presents the awards.

When the Champion Judges evaluate an entry, the key aspects they are looking for in a winning business are strategies, customer service, vision, support of the local community and growth, amongst other judging criteria. It’s not always about the money. “There are many small business owners who will never be millionaires, but it’s the contribution that is invaluable”, Steve said.

Dr David Le attended the awards ceremony along with 800 finalists from 30 other different categories. He said that it was a great experience to be a part of a special event congratulating businesses from around NewSouth Wales.
